Stakeholders' Council

SC-block-logoIntegrity's Stakeholders' Council is made up of past and present leadership at all levels of the organization, as well as key partners. It serves as one of several conduits for communication between Integrity's membership and the Board of Directors, and a means for members to get involved in Integrity's work at the national level.

Voting members of the Stakeholder's Council also serve to elect a new President in the event the incumbent leaves office in mid-term. Voting members include Chapter Conveners, Diocesan Organizers, Congregational Circle Moderators, Proud Partner Representatives, and Lifetime Members.

Other leaders are invited to participate in the day-to-day activities of the Council. These include Provincial Coordinators, Past Presidents, current members of the Board of directors, representatives of organizations designated by the Board as "allied organizations," and the Executive Director—if there be one.

The Stakeholders' Council elects its own leadership, a Chair and Vice-Chair, for three-year terms.

The Stakeholders' Council undertakes projects on behalf of the church. At present, we are creating a calendar of "feast days" and other relevant occasions which chapters, congregations or members may choose to celebrate or observe. The first event, St. Aelred's Day, was created by the Connecticut Chapter with the assistance of our founder, Louie Crew. The calendar, which is a work in progress, will soon be available on this site.

The Stakeholders' Council meets by conference call monthly, and we are in the process of developing a web-based discussion board to foster more collaboration among members across time and distance.
